Job summary

Melba Support Services is seeking a Disability Support Worker to help people with disability live meaningful, self-directed lives across services like SIL, ISA, Community Participation and STA. The role involves personalised support to promote independence, choice and control, aligned with The Melba Way.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• A current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide support tailored to each person’s goals, preferences and support needs.
• Help people participate in community, recreational, educational and employment-related activities.
• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks where required.
• Support health and wellbeing, including medication assistance where required and authorised.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality, person-led support.
