Melba Support Services (Melba) is seeking a Disability Support Worker for Community Connections on a casual basis. You will work with people with disability to live meaningful, self-directed lives across SIL, ISA, Community Participation, STA and other community supports.

The Melba Way emphasizes questions, listening, and tailoring supports to each person, with a strong focus on dignity, respect and inclusion.

Qualifications

• No previous disability experience required
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR and NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Australian Driver Licence may be required

Responsabilités

• Support people to build independence and life skills
• Facilitate participation in community, recreational, educational and employment activities
• Provide practical day-to-day support, including personal care and daily living assistance
• Support health and wellbeing, including medication assistance where required
• Maintain documentation and work with teams to deliver person-led support
