Job summary

Melba Support Services is seeking a Disability Support Worker in Mooroolbark, Victoria. You will deliver person-centred supports across SIL and other services, promoting independence, choice and community participation.

The role welcomes applicants with a strong commitment to human rights and person-led practice, with training provided and opportunities to grow within the Melba Way. You will be supported by a collaborative team, have flexible shifts including weekends, and be required to

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma in Community Services (highly regarded).
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
• Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support tailored to each person’s goals, preferences and needs.
• Assist with community, recreational, educational, and employment activities.
• Provide practical day-to-day support including personal care.
• Support health and wellbeing, including medication assistance where required.
• Maintain documentation and work with teams to deliver safe, high-quality, person-led support.
