Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a Home Care Worker to support older clients in Redfern, NSW and surrounding areas. You will provide home help and personal care to enable clients to live independently at home for longer.

You will perform housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, transport support and basic personal care, while building trusting relationships with clients and families. A valid Australian drivers licence and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• 3 months or more experience in a similar role.
• Driver's licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry; meal preparation and grocery shopping.
