Silverchain is seeking a Home Care Worker in NSW to support older community members at home. This casual role offers an opportunity to progress to part‑time, with duties covering general housekeeping, meal prep, and social support to help clients live independently in their own homes.

Applicants should have a valid Australian driver’s licence and a vehicle, and an interest in community or aged care. Training programs including CPR and First Aid are provided to support career development.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian driver’s licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)

Responsabilités

• General housekeeping and making beds
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping
• Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
• Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
