Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a Care Worker to support older clients at home in Bankstown and surrounding suburbs. You will deliver personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation, helping clients maintain independence and wellbeing.

Applicants should have at least 3 months in a similar role, with experience in personal care, mobility, and medications. A valid Australian driver's licence and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• 3 months+ experience in a similar care role including personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping, bed making, cleaning, laundry and meal prep.
• Deliver personal care: mobility assistance, getting clients out of bed, showering and dressing.
• Assist clients with medications and health needs as directed.
• Provide transport to activities or appointments and support families.
• Offer social and emotional support to clients and families.
