Job summary

Silverchain Group is seeking a Home Care Worker to support older clients in their own homes in Chatswood 2057. You will handle general housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, and client transport, while building strong relationships with clients and families.

Applicants should have at least 3 months in a similar role and hold an Open Class Australian Driver's Licence with an insured vehicle. CPR/First Aid training is provided.

Qualifications

• 3 months or more experience in a similar role
• Open Class Australian Driver's Licence with own insured vehicle
• Experience in home care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping, bed making, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Provide client transport to activities or appointments.
• Support family carers by giving them breaks and assisting with daily tasks.
