Job summary

Silverchain Group is seeking Care Workers to assist older clients in Sanctuary Point and surrounding areas. The role involves home help and personal care tasks, including housekeeping, meal prep, and medication assistance, with a focus on maintaining independence and wellbeing.

Applicants should have at least 3 months of relevant experience, a valid Australian driver’s licence and their own insured vehicle. Opportunities for training, CPR/First Aid, and career development are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in a similar care role.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• Experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, bed making, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Provide personal care: assisting with waking, showering, dressing, medications.
• Support mobility and therapy goals; transport to activities.
• Provide social and emotional support to clients.
