Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is hiring a Home Care Worker in Broken Hill, Menindee and Wilcannia on a casual basis. You will provide essential in-home care to elderly clients, helping maintain independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Responsibilities include housekeeping, meal prep, transport to appointments, and personal care with support for medications. A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent is required, plus a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Empathetic, resourceful and aligned with Uniting values.
• Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Help at home with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: escorts to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Personal care: hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance and medication administration.
