Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker to support elderly clients at home across Nowra, Kiama and surrounds. This permanent part-time role offers meaningful, community-focused care with flexible hours and travel within the region.

Responsibilities include assisting with housekeeping, personal care and transport, enabling client independence. A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent is required, along with a valid Australian driver’s license and access to a insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent.
• Proven or strong interest in aged or community care.
• Willing to adapt to clients' evolving needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Escort clients to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
• Assist with personal care including hygiene, dressing, and meal support.
