Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Home Care Worker to support elderly clients in Bondi, Waverley, Maroubra, Matraville and the City. This permanent part-time role offers flexible hours and travel compensation, helping clients maintain independence in their own homes.

You'll assist with daily tasks, transport, and personal care, guided by Uniting's values of compassion and respect. A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care and a valid Australian driving license are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification required.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.
• Empathetic, resourceful and aligned with Uniting values.
• Flexible to accommodate evolving client needs.

Responsibilities

• Help with housekeeping, groceries and meal preparation.
• Transport clients to appointments, shopping and social activities.
• Provide personal care including hygiene, showering, dressing and medication assistance.
