Australian Unity is seeking caring individuals to join our home-care team in Broken Hill. The role involves assisting elderly clients (65+) with domestic tasks and, for some, personal care, in clients’ homes. Travel for training is required, and weekends may apply for experienced carers.

Qualifications

• Live in or near Broken Hill NSW.
• Hold Australian Drivers' Licence with own car.
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours per day, Mon-Fri (weekend rosters for experienced carers).
• Commitment to 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training with travel for training.
• This role is NOT a vacancy for Disability or facility/nursing home work.

Responsabilités

• Entry-Level Carers: provide domestic assistance (cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, meals).
• Experienced Carers: provide personal care (showering, toileting, meds) and related domestic duties.
• Be a friendly face and brighten clients' day; support clients in their homes.
