Job summary

Silverchain Group is seeking a Care Worker to support older Australians in Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas. The role offers guaranteed hours, shifts from 8am to 2pm, and an award rate with additional benefits.

You will assist with personal care, housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation. Ideal candidates have at least 3 months in a similar role, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to relate well with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 months of experience in a similar professional role.
• Valid Australian driver's licence and insured vehicle preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide general home care tasks: housekeeping, bed-making, cleaning.
• Meal prep and grocery shopping; laundry and ironing.
• Deliver personal care: assist with mobility, showering, dressing, medications.
