Job summary

Silverchain Group is seeking a Care Worker to support aged care clients in Port Macquarie West and surrounding suburbs. You will perform home help and personal care tasks, including housekeeping, meal prep, and assisting with daily living activities.

Experience of 3+ months in a similar role is required; valid Australian driver's licence and own insured vehicle are needed. Training opportunities and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping and domestic tasks (making beds, cleaning, laundry).
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Assist clients with personal care (getting out of bed, showering, dressing).
• Help clients take medications and support mobility/therapy goals.
• Provide social and emotional support and transport to activities or appointments.
