Job summary

Silverchain in Coffs Harbour is seeking a Part-time Home Care Worker to support older Australians in maintaining independence and wellbeing. You will perform home help and personal care tasks in clients' homes with guided training and ongoing support.

With guaranteed hours, an award rate of 34.42 per hour plus super and paid kilometres, this role offers pathways to Cert 3 qualifications and CPR/First Aid training. A valid Australian driver's licence and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ months experience in a similar professional role, with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping, making beds, cleaning and laundry.
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
• Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed, and assisting with medications.
• Assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
• Providing social and emotional support and transport to activities.
