Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a dedicated Home Care Worker to support older clients in Blacktown and surrounding areas. You will deliver in-home care, combining personal support, domestic tasks and companionship to help clients maintain independence and dignity.

The role requires a Cert III or higher in Aged Care or related field, plus at least six months’ experience. A valid Australian driver’s licence and your own insured vehicle are essential, with CPR/First Aid training encouraged.

Qualifications

• Cert III or above in Aged Care or related field.
• 6+ months of experience in a similar role.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and own insured vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Experience with medications and manual handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping and domestic assistance to clients at home.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, dressing, and mobility.
• Support medication administration as authorised.
• Transport clients to activities or appointments.
• Document care notes and communicate with care coordinators.
