Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a Home Care Worker in Grafton and surrounding suburbs to support older clients in their homes. You will provide general housekeeping and personal care, helping clients stay independent and safe.

Role requires a valid Australian driver’s licence with your own insured vehicle, CPR/First Aid training, and 3+ months of relevant experience. Casual roles with prospects for permanent part-time adaptation are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 months experience in a similar position.
• Experience in personal care, manual handling and medications.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
• CPR and First Aid courses; USI required.
• Accelerated learning program to gain Cert 3.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping tasks and personal care to aged clients at home.
• Assist with mobility, medications and daily living activities.
• Support clients to live independently at home and coordinate with families.
