Silverchain seeks a Home Care Worker for Canberra North (ACT) on a part-time basis. The role supports aged care clients with home help and personal care, with a focus on independence and wellbeing.

A valid Australian driver’s licence and own vehicle are required, along with at least 3 months in a similar role. Offer includes guaranteed hours, an award rate of $34.42 per hour plus super and paid kilometres, an employee benefits program with salary packaging, and opportunities for accelerated

Qualificações

• At least 3 months experience in a similar professional role (home care / personal care)
• Ability to build positive relationships with clients and families
• Comfortable working independently and solving problems on the job

Responsabilidades

• Provide home help services (housekeeping, meals, laundry) to aged care clients
• Assist with personal care (getting clients out of bed, showering, dressing) and medication support
• Support mobility and therapy goals and transport to activities or appointments
• Provide social and emotional support and respite for family carers
