Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Personal Carer Domestic to provide in-home support across Lowood, Laidley and surrounding areas. You will help clients maintain independence and quality of life through daily activities and compassionate care.

The role offers permanent part-time hours with on-site visits, salary packaging options and ample employee benefits. A driver’s license and vehicle are essential, along with the ability to pass probity checks.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) – essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work – essential.
• Experience with technology (smartphones, tablets, laptops)
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Travel between client visits, providing in-home support and companionship.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, laundry, ironing.
• Provide transportation and help with shopping and appointments.
