Qualifikationen

• Previous receptionist, front-of-house or medical receptionist experience.
• Strong multitasking and ability to manage competing demands.
• Warm, approachable and empathetic with excellent communication.
• Confident with calls, visitors and enquiries.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Calm, professional under pressure in sensitive situations.
• Proficient with computer systems and general admin tasks.
• Collaborative and able to work independently in a team.
• Funeral industry experience not required; welcoming environment.

Aufgaben

• Acting as the first point of contact for families, visitors and other stakeholders, providing a warm, professional and compassionate welcome.
• Answering incoming calls and making outbound calls to families and relevant contacts.
• Managing a busy reception environment, balancing multiple enquiries and competing priorities.
• Providing general administrative and reception support to the Funeral Arrangers and Conductors.
• Ensuring accurate information is communicated to the funeral team to support the smooth coordination of services.
• Responding to enquiries with sensitivity, professionalism and discretion.
• Maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information appropriately.
• Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks to ensure families receive a seamless and respectful experience.
