MAYDAY Recruitment Group in Osborne Park, WA, is partnering with a leading funeral services provider to recruit a Permanent Full-Time Funeral Administrative Arranger (Receptionist). You will be the friendly face and first point of contact, greeting families and handling calls with care.
This reception-focused role places emphasis on customer service and admin support, with training provided and opportunities to grow into funeral arranging.
MAYDAY is proud to be partnering with a leading funeral services provider to recruit a Permanent Full-Time Funeral Administrative Arranger (Receptionist) for their Osborne Park, WA location.
This is a rewarding opportunity to join a compassionate and dedicated team, providing a warm and welcoming first point of contact for families during some of life’s most difficult moments. In this role, you will play an important part in creating a positive and supportive experience for families, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed and cared for from their very first interaction.
Working within an experienced and supportive team, this is a predominantly reception and customer service-focused position. You will manage incoming calls, greet visitors and provide essential administrative support to help ensure the smooth running of funeral services.
As a Funeral Administrative Arranger, you will be the friendly face and voice of the Osborne Park location, helping families feel comfortable and supported while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
This is a busy environment where multiple services may be taking place at the same time, so the ability to multitask, stay organised and remain calm under pressure is essential.
Importantly, this is a reception-focused role rather than a funeral arranging position. You will primarily be based at the location, with no requirement to attend or conduct funeral services. There may be occasional involvement in supporting viewings or service preparations, but your main focus will be reception, communication and customer service.
We are looking for a naturally warm, organised and people-focused individual who understands the importance of making a positive first impression. You will be confident managing a busy reception while providing compassionate service to families who may be experiencing a difficult time.
You will ideally have:
Experience in the funeral industry is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in medical reception, healthcare, aged care, hospitality, administration and other customer-facing environments.
Above all, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, can think on their feet and takes pride in providing a welcoming and supportive experience.
If you are an experienced receptionist who is organised, compassionate and confident managing a busy front desk, this could be a rewarding next step in your career.
You don't need previous funeral industry experience to succeed. What matters most is your ability to multitask, communicate with warmth and professionalism, and help families feel welcomed and supported from their very first interaction.
