Job summary

Danny Met Sally is expanding! We’re opening a new Supported Independent Living (SIL) home in Sawtell, and we are seeking experienced, compassionate Support Workers to join our team.

In this role you will provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to a participant moving into the home, assisting with ADLs, including personal care, medication assistance, community access, and other individual support needs.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and experienced in disability support.
• Certificate III in Disability or related qualification is required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s Licence and a car with comprehensive insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory.
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate is required.
• Manual Handling certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Medication Administration Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexible availability across a 24/7 roster and ability to work overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to a participant moving into the SIL home.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care and medication assistance.
• Support community access and other individual support needs.
• Work as part of a compassionate team in a new Sawtell SIL home.
