Job summary

Danny Met Sally is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our team at our SIL home in Goulburn and in the community. You will assist clients with daily living needs, including in-home support, personal care, social engagement and community participation.

We are looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who truly believe in person-centred care and will respect each client’s needs, choices, and goals. Compliance and safety are mandatory for all roles.

Qualifications

• 12 months minimum experience as a Support Worker.
• Mandatory compliance including Certificate III in Disability or relatable qualification, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Driver’s Licence & comprehensive insured car, First Aid & CPR, Manual Handling, Medication Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living needs including in-home support and personal care.

We currently have opportunities for dedicated Support Workers to join our team across our SIL home in Goulburn as well as working in the Community.

You will support our clients with their daily living needs, including in-home support, personal care, social engagement and community participation. We are looking for compassionate, reliable and person-centred individuals who genuinely enjoy supporting others to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.

About You

In addition to our values, our support staff requiremandatory compliance:

• 12 months minimum experience as a Support Worker
• Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or a relatable qualification)
• Experience with complex Psychosocial Disabilities
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (5 Years Validity).
• Driver’s Licence & Comprehensively Insured Car.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Manual Handling Certificate (12 Months Validity) or willing to obtain.
• Medication Assessment Certificate (12 Months Validity) or willing to obtain.
• Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
