Job summary

Access Lifecare is seeking enthusiastic Disability Support Workers for our Supported Independent Living facilities in Yass, NSW. You will provide personalised care, assist with daily living activities, meal prep, domestic tasks, transport, and companionship, with strong support from the team.

We offer professional supervision, ongoing support, flexible shifts across mornings to nights, and opportunities for personal and career development within a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Disability/Aged Care/Community or Mental Health (or equivalent).
• Experience with people with disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex physical disabilities.
• Current National Police Check (within 12 months) or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Working with Vulnerable People card.
• Current driver's license.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate is mandatory prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Supports clients with activities of daily living.
• Assists with personal care and domestic tasks (house cleaning, washing, tidying).
• Assists with meal preparation and provides companionship.
• Provides emotional support and transportation to appointments or activities as required.
