Job summary

Independence Australia Group (via Zest Care) is seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team across Western Sydney and surrounding suburbs.

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to people with disability in their homes and within the community, helping them achieve their goals and live independently. Morning, day and evening shifts are available, with an assessment centre for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support, aged care or community services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to person-centred support and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and daily living support.
• Supporting community participation, appointments and social activities.
• Assisting with household tasks and meal preparation.
• Encouraging independence, choice and achievement of personal goals.
• Following support plans and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Building positive relationships and promoting a safe, inclusive environment.
