Job summary

Caring Support (NSW) Pty Ltd in the Rutherford, Cessnock area is seeking compassionate Support Workers to join our team. This role offers flexible working arrangements to support individuals with disability care needs in the local community.

You will provide personal care, assist with transfers, meal prep, and accompany clients to appointments while reporting on wellbeing. A minimum of 2 years' experience, a current driver's license, and compliance checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability sector in Supported Independent Living homes.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the disability sector.
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work flexible hours, including shift work, weekends and public holidays.
• National police check and working with vulnerable people clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as showering, dressing, transfers and general daily living support.
• Administer medication and insulin per training requirements.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the team.
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
