Job summary

BlueCare in Roma is seeking a Personal Carer. You will provide in-home support, helping clients retain independence and improve quality of life, with daily living tasks and personal care.

The role involves on-road visits, community activities, and transportation support. Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent is essential; a current Australian licence and a roadworthy vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
• Roadworthy and insured vehicle to use for work.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops.
• Able to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits with clients at their homes.
• Provide in-home personal care including showering and daily living tasks.
• Support care per individual care plan.
• Support community-based recreational and social activities.
• Assist with transportation, shopping and appointments.
