Job summary

PresCare’s Yaralla Place in Maryborough, QLD is seeking a Personal Care Worker to provide person-centred daily care in a welcoming home setting. You will assist residents with daily activities, mobility, meals and personal care in line with the care plan.

This permanent, full-time role offers 76 hours per fortnight, competitive hourly rates, NFP salary packaging and an Employee Assistance Program to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in providing personal care in aged care settings.
• Ability to deliver person-centred care and support residents’ daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Care and services are delivered in accordance with the Care Plan.
• Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care, continence care.
• Mobility support including use of aids and falls prevention.
• Assistance with eating and drinking, including dietary considerations.
• Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams.
