Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a Personal Care Worker to provide high-quality care to residents, supporting their physical, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs. The role promotes a safe, home-like environment that encourages independence while safeguarding dignity and privacy.

You will work with a compassionate team, implementing individual care plans and assisting with activities of daily living, including mobility and hygiene.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent.
• National Police Check required.
• Experience in dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal care and mobility.
• Support a safe, home-like environment that promotes independence and dignity.
• Communicate effectively within the care team and follow care plans.
• Respect residents' privacy, cultural needs and preferences.
• Adhere to all policies and directions in daily care delivery.
