Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare meals, assist with food preparation and meal service for residents. You’ll clean as you go, help update menus with resident feedback, and maintain records under the Food Safety Program.

A successful candidate will have kitchen experience, strong time management, and ideally a Basic Food Handling Course. Aged care experience is a bonus; join a caring team dedicated to enriching residents' lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work; aged care is a bonus.
• Strong time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink
• Cleaning (including dishes) – keep a sparkle
• Assisting with menu changes for residents
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
• Be active and on your feet for most of your shift
