Job summary

St Vincent’s Care Services Southport is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to partner with residents in daily routines, personal care needs, lifestyle and choices, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and engaged within a supportive team.

Ideal candidates hold Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care and have 6+ months of residential aged care experience, plus strong customer service skills and AutumnCare experience to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
• 6 months+ experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience highly regarded
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) - if you already have and it is under 6 months old
• NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
