Job summary

St Vincent's Care Bardon in Australia is seeking Living Support Partners (Personal Care Assistants) to join a dedicated team providing direct care and support to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, support daily routines, and help residents feel safe and valued.

The role requires a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, 6 months of aged care experience (dementia experience valued), and familiarity with AutumnCare.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or similar qualifications essential.
• 6+ months experience in a similar role with residential aged care experience (dementia experience) highly regarded.
• Good availability to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts on a casual basis, with potential to transition to a permanent part-time position.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records.
• Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living.
• Support residents to follow their daily routines and care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for residents.
• Be a collaborative household member within a specific household and support wellbeing.
