Job summary

Estia Health in Australia is seeking caring individuals to join our supportive aged care team. You will assist residents with daily activities, ensure comfort, and help maintain dignity in a person-centred environment.

The role welcomes part-time or casual arrangements and requires a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, strong documentation skills, and compassionate communication to enrich residents' lives.

Qualifications

• You’ll be a true team player and great communicator.
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care is required.
• Time spent working as a caregiver or similar.
• Solid clinical documentation and computer skills.
• Ability to work on either a Part Time or Casual basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily life, ensuring they feel heard, comfortable and well-fed.
• Support residents with challenging needs alongside the care team.
• Help keep residents’ bodies and minds active through activities and engagement.
• Monitor residents’ health and assist with treatments as directed by nurses.
• Be a friendly, empathetic presence and protect residents’ privacy and dignity.
