Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is seeking passionate carers to support aged care clients living at home around Dubbo. You will travel between client visits, performing light domestic tasks, transport to appointments, meal prep and social support. Availability Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, 3–5 days preferred.

Qualifications

• Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (traineeship option).
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check.

Responsibilities

• General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing.
• Transport to appointments and shopping.
• Meal preparation.
• Social support or respite for family/carers.
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).

• Increased hourly rate from July 1st - $34.50 - $48.75 per hour + superannuation + km reimbursement ($1.11 per km)
• Location - Travelling to visit clients around Dubbo and surrounding area

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our AgedCare clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Dubbo and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably 3-5 days)

Day to day role looks like:
