Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Bathurst and surrounds is seeking passionate, caring individuals to help our aged care clients live independently at home. This permanent part-time role involves travelling across Bathurst with weekday hours from 8am to 5pm (preferably 3–5 days).

We offer an increased hourly rate from 34.50 to 48.75 per hour, plus superannuation and a km reimbursement of 1.11 per km, not-for-profit tax benefits, paid parental leave, long service leave, and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check

Responsibilities

• General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing
• Transport to appointments and shopping
• Meal preparation
• Social Support or Respite for family carers
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our AgedCare clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Bathurst and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably 3-5 days)

Day to day role looks like

To be successful in this role you’ll need
