Job summary

Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) on the Central Coast invites applications for Community Support Assistants on a casual basis in the South Central Coast area. You will work in clients' homes delivering person-centred support to help maintain independence and wellbeing.

Key requirements include a Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care, current First Aid & CPR, a Queensland Open Driver's Licence with a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work about 20 hours per

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care (essential).
• Previous experience supporting older people in a community setting.
• Strong time management and ability to work autonomously.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Current Queensland Open Driver's Licence.
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Smartphone.
• National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) is a progressive organisation committed to supporting older Australians to live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes and communities.

We are seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our community care team on a casual basis for our Central Coast (south)location. This role supports aged care clients aged 65 years and above within their own homes, delivering services with a strong person-centred care approach.

You will play a meaningful role in enabling clients to remain engaged in their community while maintaining independence and wellbeing.
