Job summary

Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) is seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our Central Coast (North) team. This casual role supports clients 65+ in their own homes, delivering person-centred care and helping maintain independence and wellbeing.

You will provide personal care, social support, meal preparation, and light domestic tasks while keeping clear communication and accurate documentation. Approx. 20 hours per week with travel between client visits.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or Community Care (essential)
• Previous experience supporting older people in a community setting
• Strong time management and ability to work autonomously
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Availability to commit to approximately 20 hours per week
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current Open Driver's Licence
• Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
• Smart phone
• National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

We are seeking passionate Community Support Assistants to join our community care team on a casual basis for our Central Coast (North) location. This role supports aged care clients aged 65 years and above within their own homes, delivering services with a strong person-centred care approach.

You will play a meaningful role in enabling clients to remain engaged in their community while maintaining independence and wellbeing.
