Job summary

St George Community Housing in Sydney is seeking a Customer Program Specialist to coordinate and administer a portfolio of customer and community programs that support social inclusion, wellbeing and participation. You will plan, implement, monitor and evaluate programs while ensuring funding, governance and reporting compliance.

The role works with customers, community partners, government stakeholders and internal teams to deliver meaningful social impact.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree with relevant experience; associate diploma with substantial experience; or an equivalent combination of qualifications, specialised skills and experience sufficient to perform at this level.
• Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, implementing and administering moderately complex customer, community, funded or partnership programs within established governance, budget and compliance frameworks.
• High-level program coordination, administration, data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to set priorities and identify risks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to gain the cooperation of customers, colleagues, government agencies, funding bodies, service providers and community partners and provide practical advice within the role's area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the delivery of customer and community programs from planning through to evaluation.
• Managing program schedules, action plans, reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Supporting externally funded and partnership programs to meet contractual, compliance and reporting obligations.
• Coordinating governance activities, meetings, workshops, events and customer engagement activities.
• Evaluating program outcomes, monitoring risks and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Building strong relationships with customers, community groups, government agencies and delivery partners.
• Ensuring customer voice and accessibility considerations are embedded throughout program delivery.
