Job summary

SGCH is seeking a Community Impact Coordinator in Sydney to deliver initiatives that strengthen local connections, foster wellbeing and belonging for customers and communities. Reporting to the Senior Community Impact and Partnership Manager, you will coordinate placemaking, customer engagement activities and participation programs across SGCH communities.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in community development, placemaking, community services, social science, events, project coordination or related discipline.
• Experience planning and delivering community engagement, place-based activities, events or small projects within plans, procedures, timeframes and budgets.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills with diverse customers.
• Commitment to inclusive, culturally safe and customer-centered practice with solid administrative and digital skills.
• Holds a current Full NSW Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating community engagement, placemaking and customer participation activities across SGCH communities.
• Supporting community consultations, workshops, events and customer voice activities.
• Building strong relationships with customers, community organisations, local services and stakeholders.
• Assisting with onboarding of new developments and communities through placemaking and activation initiatives.
• Maintaining activity plans, stakeholder records, reporting and administrative documentation.
• Collecting customer feedback and community insights to support improvement and ESG outcomes.
