Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients in their homes across Crows Nest and surrounding areas. You will deliver in-home personal care, daily living assistance, and light household tasks while following personalised care plans.

The role involves travelling to clients, enabling independence, and participating in community activities. A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is essential, along with a valid driver’s licence and a roadworthy vehicle.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) is essential.
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work is essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance (showering, grooming, meals).
• Support clients to maintain independence and participate in community activities.
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments and shopping.
• Follow individual Care Plans and document care appropriately.
