Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to provide compassionate community-based support to clients living in Lowood and surrounding areas. You will travel between homes, perform daily living tasks, and help clients maintain independence and quality of life.

The role includes in-home personal care, meal prep, light housework, and transportation to appointments. A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent is essential, along with a valid driver’s licence and a suitable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Essential: Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential.
• Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work - Essential.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and daily living assistance.
• Travel to clients' homes for scheduled visits, assisting with daily activities.
• Support clients in accordance with their Care Plan.
• Assist with community-based recreational and social activities.
• Transport and assist with shopping and appointments.
