Job summary

CatholicCare Central Queensland in Bundaberg is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our growing Clinical and Allied Health Team. The role delivers community-based occupational therapy services for aged care, disability and private fee-for-service supports, including CHSP, Support at Home and NDIS, with professional supervision and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum of one year's experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Ability to undertake assessments, develop intervention plans and recommend equipment and home modifications.
• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, documentation and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and with a team.
• Current C Class Driver Licence (Qld).

Responsibilities

• Conduct home-based occupational therapy assessments including daily living activities, mobility and home safety.
• Develop individualized intervention plans and recommend assistive technology and equipment.
• Assess and recommend home modifications with supporting documentation and diagrams.
• Prepare professional assessment reports, equipment applications and recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients, families, carers and other health professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
