Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking a passionate, community-focused Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in the Caboolture region. You will service Caboolture/Moreton Bay, travel across the region, and work to improve or maintain clients' independent living through assessment, consultation, and treatment.

Mandatory requirements include a degree in Occupational Therapy, AHPRA registration, a police clearance, a valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle, and First Aid/CPR.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Current National Police Certificate or NDIS Clearance/Yellow Card.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ functional and ergonomic capacity, limitations and potential.
• Assess clients’ cognition and decision-making capacity with respect to Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Recommend, trial and assist to obtain necessary assistive technology (aids and equipment).
• Facilitate appropriate home modifications and coordinate with other agencies.
