Hearing Australia is seeking a Community Hearing Advisor to join the Yeppoon & Rockhampton teams. The role focuses on attracting clients through events, national campaigns, and outbound calls, while building strong relationships with referrers across the region.

You will organise screenings, manage stakeholders, and lead promotional activities within your territory, contributing to growth and client engagement in the Rockhampton area.

Formación

• Hold a current driver licence and own a reliable vehicle.
• Sales and marketing background in healthcare is desirable.
• Be a team player working across Hearing Australia teams.
• Strong organisational and computer skills, with multitasking ability.
• Experience planning events to surpass targets.
• Demonstrate excellent people skills and customer service.

Job Location: Rockhampton

Posting Start Date: 20/10/2026

• Permanent, part-time position (19 hrs per week)
• Competitive base salary + 15.4% super + KPI performance rewards

About the opportunity

As a Community Hearing Advisor, you will work alongside the Yeppoon & Rockhampton Hearing Centre and Sales teams. You’ll enjoy a variety of activities including attracting new clients to Hearing Australia through running successful events, leveraging national campaigns, conducting outbound call campaigns, and building strong relationships with stakeholders & referrers such as GP practices, retail pharmacies, retirement villages and community groups.

Community Hearing Advisors organise and lead promotional opportunities that include conducting hearing checks at screening events and proactively managing key stakeholders / referrers within their territory.

About you

We believe to be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a current driver licence and own a reliable vehicle
• Have a sales and marketing background in the healthcare industry (highly desirable but not essential)
• Be a Team Player as you will be working with many different teams throughout Hearing Australia
• Possess strong organisational and computer skills, and the ability to multitask
• Experience with planning events to exceed targets
• Demonstrate excellent people skills, a passion for exceptional customer service and the ability to develop and maintain mutually rewarding relationships with our clients and stakeholders
