Job summary

Coastal Hire is seeking a Salesperson to join our team in Taree, NSW. The role requires strong organization, courteous client interaction and the ability to manage sales processes and administration with minimal supervision.

You will learn our product line, handle inquiries, assist with invoicing, and support branch operations while representing Coastal Hire in the local community with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping and tracking of financial transactions.
• Previous experience with sales duties in an office/onsite setting.
• Working knowledge of G-suite.
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing in accordance with pricing policy to be completed accurately and within specified timeframes
• Provide admin, accounting and clerical support to sales/management.
• Manage petty cash.
• Answer and direct phone calls.
• Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of all products. (training provided)
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws.
• Maintain an up to date pump-out schedule.
• Provide general support to visitors.
• Work confidentially when required.
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Carry out customer sales and enquiries.
• Attend sales meetings.
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.Assist in updating social media.
• Assist in delivery and pick up of hire items, including site setup.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.
