Job summary

CatholicCare is seeking a hands-on Gardening & Maintenance Team Member to keep outdoor spaces well-kept, including lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs. You will contribute to a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment through routine care and seasonal tasks.

Based in Wyong with travel across Northern Sydney and the Central Coast. Permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, paying AU$27 per hour plus super and salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years' recent experience or qualification in gardening, horticulture, landscape or maintenance related discipline.
• Working with Children's Check and an NDIS Worker Check.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence and access to an insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn mowing, pruning, planting and weed control.
• Minor tree maintenance and working with an arborist for more complex tree management.
• Identify plant diseases, stress and general health of plants, trees and turf.
• Undertake minor maintenance tasks to ensure compliance and safety.
• Maintain and ensure equipment is kept in safe working order and correctly operated.
• Complete job-related documentation promptly and professionally.
