Job summary

CatholicCare Diocese Of Broken Bay is seeking a skilled Gardening & Maintenance Team Member for Wyong and surrounding areas. You will maintain lawns, gardens, trees and landscaped spaces to keep grounds healthy, safe and welcoming for the community.

The role is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, based in Wyong with travel across Northern Sydney and the Central Coast. Salary is $27 per hour plus Super and salary packaging options.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ recent experience or qualification in gardening, horticulture, landscape or maintenance related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Performing lawn mowing, pruning, planting, and weed control.
• Minor tree maintenance and working with an arborist for more complex tree management.
• Identify plant diseases, stress and general health of plants, trees and turf.
• Undertake minor maintenance tasks to ensure compliance and safety.
• Maintaining and ensuring equipment is kept in a safe working order and correctly operated.
• Complete job-related documentation promptly and professionally.

About The Role

We’re looking for a skilled, hands‑on Gardening & Maintenance Team Member to keep our outdoor spaces looking their best — lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs and all landscaped areas. You’ll help keep our grounds healthy, clean and safe through routine care, seasonal work and minor maintenance tasks. This role is a key part of ensuring our facilities stay safe, functional and welcoming for the community.

Duties

Requirements

• Working with Children’s Check and a NDIS Worker Check.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to an insured vehicle.
