The Salvation Army’s Moneycare program is seeking a Permanent Full-time Financial Counsellor to support clients in Coburg and Greensborough, VIC. You will empower individuals to navigate debts, negotiate with creditors, and build lasting financial resilience through client-centred case management.

Formación

• Diploma in Financial Counselling is required.
• Accredited member or actively working towards accreditation with a Victorian-recognised association.
• Experience in social services and understanding of financial hardship and exclusion.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advocacy and holistic case work for clients facing financial stress.
• Negotiate with creditors and service providers on clients' behalf.
• Develop tailored action plans to address financial challenges.
• Advocate for clients and connect them with available supports and services.
• Monitor progress and adjust support plans to achieve long-term resilience.
