Job summary

JLL in Melbourne is seeking a Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations at Melbourne Connect Co-working, delivering outstanding customer experiences for researchers, startups, and partners.

You will oversee onboarding, events, facilities, and financial performance, reporting to the Centre Manager and working with the Community Team to foster connection and belonging in one of Australia\'s dynamic innovation hubs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a community management, customer service, or hospitality role within a coworking, flexible workspace, or similar environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated passion for customer service with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by developing and managing a customer experience program that exceeds expectations.
• Build strong relationships with customers by responding to feedback and resolving challenges proactively.
• Curate and manage a program of community events to foster networking and collaboration among members.
• Conduct tours for potential customers and stakeholders to showcase Melbourne Connect Co-working.
• Oversee operations of workspace facilities and equipment, maintaining high presentation standards.
• Collaborate on operational strategies and ensure smooth integration of the Centre into the Melbourne Connect precinct.
• Manage vendor and supplier relationships to meet KPIs and support the customer experience.
• Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and client reporting with accurate account coding and compliance.
• Champion health and safety best practices across the workspace.
