Job summary

BlueFit is looking for a Community Engagement Coordinator to connect our facility with local schools, councils and community groups, and to implement the local engagement plan so families stay active and engaged in healthy activities.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will lead partnerships, school bookings, community outreach, and social media content, while tracking participation data to refine strategies and increase local impact.

Qualifications

• Background in community engagement, facility programming, events, or local marketing.
• Confident public speaker with a flair for hands-on social media content creation.
• Experience coordinating programs and partnerships with local stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with local community organisations and schools.
• Manage learn to swim programs, bookings, and community events.
• Promote swimming lessons and facility services through outreach and social channels.
• Coordinate bookings for carnivals, events and facility hires.
• Create engaging social media content and monthly newsletters with the central marketing team.
• Track participation data and report on community reach to improve engagement strategies.
